We are here to provide you with the very best care and attention when it comes to your health and wellness. We attempt to be available during the times our patients most desire. At Highland Park Physical Medicine, we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s lives. However, out of respect for both our practitioners and the patients who are trying to rearrange their busy schedules, we ask that you do your very best to not cancel appointments last minute or not show up for your scheduled appointment. In our commitment to provide an outstanding experience to all of our patients and out of consideration for our practitioners’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

Arrival at the Office

Please arrive for your appointment 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time in order to ensure a complete session. This allows you the time to fill out any appropriate forms, change clothing if necessary, and prepare for your treatment.  It will also help you slow down and catch your breath from your busy day!

Tardy Policy

As you can imagine, late arrivals can set back our schedules significantly. As a courtesy to our patients, if you arrive late, your session will be shortened to the remainder of your original scheduled appointment. Coming regularly and on time is an indication of your commitment to the therapeutic care and recovery process. Once an appointment is made, that time is set aside for your use.

Cancellation Policy

Late cancellations frequently preclude making an appointment available to another patient. Any cancellations for appointments must be received by 12pm the day before or by noon on Saturday for any Monday appointments. Except in the case of an emergency, you will be charged in full for any missed or late cancellation appointments. Remember that scheduling an appointment means that it will be held only for you, and therefore, cannot be used by another person.
